The third and most performance oriented model in the Z family of fins. The Z3 is significantly more upright and taller than its predecessors, but has an overall reduced fin volume and surface area which makes the Z3 extremely responsive while maintaining down-the-line drive and speed. This fin performs best when the waves are wonky, lumpy, bumpy, and where responsiveness and fast acceleration are needed to perform at a high level. As noted by a few team riders: "The Z3 has great feel off wide bottom turns into big power hacks and feels extremely locked in when getting barreled, but can feel a bit loose on steep takeoffs."
