Story time... {please read, it's important}

When designing this model, we wanted to create something that would offer the speed generation of a keel fin with the agility of an upright performance twin. What we didn't anticipate was the amount of pure speed that these fins would generate, resulting in an extremely locked in feeling. The bigger the waves we surfed with these, the more locked in these fins became, almost to the point where it was hard to turn. We were about to completely scrap this design until one day that changed our minds.

By chance on a product testing day, one of our team riders forgot to bring a fin key with him to swap the fins out; forcing him to ride these fins in knee to waist high mushy slop. To our surprise, these fins absolutely came alive. The taller profile paired with even surface area distribution allowed for good stability with the right amount of release on power turns. However, unlike previous test rides, the reduced wave power allowed the fins to remain loose and playful while still generating the right amount of speed to make it around sections. The worse the conditions got, the more fun these fins became.

Moral of the story... If you are consistently riding twin fins in pumping surf, these aren't for you. These fins make the worst conditions fun and playful. The faster you go, the worse these fins feel.
